Obituary for Louise Marie Vernesoni

Louise Marie   Vernesoni
Louise Marie (Gervasoni) Vernesoni, 92, of Francis Street, Avon, wife of the late John Vernesoni, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. She was born June 17, 1921 in Mudlick, PA, daughter of the late John and Jennie Gervasoni and had lived in Avon for the past 70 years. She was a member of The Church of Saint Ann and the Women’s Auxiliary of the Prince Thomas of Savoy Society, both in Avon. Louise was also a member of the Avon Senior Committee and enjoyed sending out sympathy and get well cards for those in the community. She loved to travel with her late husband, taking family trips to Pennsylvania to visit with her mother and father on the family farm. Louise also enjoyed bowling, playing cards and taking bus trips. She is survived her son, Robert Vernesoni and his fiancée, Rita Walker of New Britain; her daughter, Deanna Vernesoni of Avon; her granddaughter, Leah Vernesoni of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Tina Vallerio, Angelina Gervasoni, Ann Morante and Inez Gervasoni and her brother, Angelo Gervasoni. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Tuesday, July 16th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, 12:00 NOON at the Church of Saint Ann in Avon. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Avon. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon CT 06001 or the Prince Thomas of Savoy Society, 32 Old Farms Road, Avon CT 06001.
