Condolence: Roger, my Big Brother as I referred to him as, was a very special part of my life and I shall always have a place for him in my heart never to be forgotten.

Condolence: Roger was an encouragement,mentor and a friend. Talking with Roger on Sundays was one the highlights of my week. His love for his Savoir and his country were topics of our conversations. Knowing Roger only four years it seemed like a lifetime I will miss him greatly. He was a positive voice in a negative world. He smiled while others frowned and had grace when others treated him unkindly. What a life, what a legacy I can truly say I cant wait to see him again in Heaven sit down and talk again.

Condolence: It's hard to believe that Roger is no longer sitting at his desk at White Oak, holding court...telling amazing stories.. providing a small glimpse into his incredibly productive life!! Roger was a man for all seasons. He was the type of man that one reads about but rarely has the chance to actually meet and interact with.

Many people will remember his tough negotiating style. Others will remember his cool, calm demeanor whenever there was a crisis at hand. Roger seemed to thrive when the going was the most difficult. The challenge would bring out the best in him.

I will never meet another man like Roger in my life. He was a man who accomplished so many things in his lifetime that it would take days to recount them all. I will always remember listening to his stories, only to shake my head in disbelief! How could one person have done so much!!

Roger was brilliant, inventive, tough as nails, loyal and caring. They don't make people like Roger anymore! I will miss him very much.

Condolence: Marcia, I was saddened to hear of the home-going of my good friend Roger. But I was rejoicing in the fact that he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Roger had a great influence in my life and ministry for which I am most grateful. He taught me much and I look forward to more delightful conversations when I see him again in Heaven. Be assured of our prayers for you as you go through this trying time. I know our Lord will give you strength.

Condolence: We are so saddened by the loss of our brother-in-law, Roger, who we loved very much. He truly was so very kind to our family. I loved best when he spoke of his mother as he lit right up as he shared many stories about her. He was a humble man, and did so much for others in need, all done very quietly and without any bravado. He will be deeply, deeply missed by us.

Condolence: Marcia , my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness over the loss of Roger. I will always remember the good times we had, and how happy he was to have you beside him. May he rest in peace!
