Bernadette M. Wawrzyniak. 45, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Born on March 25, 1970 in Hartford, she spent most of her life in Avon, graduating from Avon High School. She was employed by the State of Connecticut DOT for over 20 years. One of her passions was traveling all over the world. Family and friends will remember her for her gentle nature, compassion and generosity. She was so special, a truly one of a kind and sincere person to know. She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Mary Wawrzyniak, two brothers, Nicholas and Eric Wawrzyniak, and nephews Dominik and Caribbean. She joins with her brother Michael. There are no calling hours. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 21st, 10:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
