Obituary for Richard E. Julian

Richard E. Julian, 91, of Avon, husband of the late Margaret (Gaioni) Julian, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Amberwoods of Farmington. He was born September 15, 1924 in Hartford, son of the late Fred and Jennie (Bowen) Julian and had lived in Avon for over 62 years. Richard was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Julian was a Salesman for Addressograph Multigraph for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Saint Ann in Avon. Richard enjoyed travelling with his wife and their friends, golfing, and his 2nd home in Myrtle Beach SC.

He is survived by his son-in-law, Karl Brumbaum of Prospect; two granddaughters, Ashley Parsons and her husband Joseph of Portsmouth, NH and Katherine Nadeau and her husband Daniel of Wethersfield; two great granddaughters, Luciana and Adalyn Parsons and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Brumbaum; his son, Thomas Julian and two sisters, Elizabeth and Dorothy Julian.

Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Monday, November 23rd from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Ann in Avon. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061.
