Condolence From: Maria Mackay and family

Condolence: Carmine had a special place in the hearts of the Mackay family. He worked with fellow electrician, Kenny for decades at Lederle and they become lifelong friends. Of special memory are the countless hours over many years Carmine (and his wife, Markie) dedicated to giving the children at St. Dominics Orphanage a special Christmas party to let them know they were not forgotten and loved. Maria and Kenny have fond memories of their get togethers with Carmine and Marie in NJ post retirement rotating houses for desserts after their lunches together. And even after moving to CT, we would frequently see him at his grandsons baseball games in Simsbury or joining us at our home in simsbury for coffee and cake. Carmine never forgot his friends and held those relationships close. He was a kind giving man who gave of himself through his volunteer work. And it was clear to his friends that his children and grandchildren were always most important to him. Here's a wish that Carmine and his beloved, Marie, are sharing a toast together again!
