Obituary for Donald Adams

Donald J. Adams, 83, of Forest Lane, Canton, husband of the late Betty Ann (Frechette) Adams, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Apple Rehab in Avon. He was born June 21, 1934 and had lived in Unionville prior to moving to Canton over 60 years ago. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U. S. Navy. He worked for Hamilton Standard for 33 years as a Welder. Don enjoyed fishing in the Farmington River, woodworking, welding and gardening.

He is survived by his children, Kim Brown of Torrington, Donna Auclair and her husband John of New Hartford, Donald Adams and his wife Sue of Winsted and Beth (Adams) Wright and her fiancé John Llera of Canton; his siblings, Norman Adams and his wife Doris of Canton, Billy Adams of Vernon and Richard Adams and his wife Roberta of Simsbury, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Adams, his grandson, Gary Wright, Jr; a brother, Robert Adams and a sister, Nancy Carroll.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 6th at the Dyer Cemetery on Dyer Cemetery Road in Canton.
