Steven Philip Pileski, 71, of Dowd Avenue, Canton, husband of the late Donna Mae (Enders) Pileski, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was born October 18, 1944 in Hartford, son of the late Alec John and Gladys Marie (Brophy) Pileski and had lived in Simsbury prior to moving to Canton 48 years ago. Steve owned and operated the Razors Edge Barber Shop in Simsbury for many years prior to his retirement. Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and having been an avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Simsbury Fish and Game Club and the Kingdom Game Club.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Pileski and his wife Paola of Naples, FL and Michael Pileski and his wife Heather of Barkhamsted; seven grandchildren, Lauren, John, Kevin, Taylor, Naomi, Chad and Jacob and his nephew, Steven Nylune. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Scott Pileski.
There are no calling hours. A celebration of his life will be held at the Bloomfield Fish and Game Club on Thursday, August 11th starting at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Simsbury Fish and Game Club, Children’s Fishing Derby, P.O. Box 252, Simsbury, CT 06070.
