Paul Dlubac
Paul P. Dlubac, Jr., 91, of Canton, beloved husband of Elsie (Richardson) Dlubac, passed peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016 at his home. Paul was born on October 29, 1925 in Burlington, CT son of the late Paul and Anna Dlubac. He was one of 11 children, with 9 sisters and one brother. He was raised in Burlington attended the local schools, served as an altar boy at St Patrick’s Church and was a proud veteran serving the country during WWII in the Army Air Force. Prior to retiring in 1990, he worked for Tom Dyer 25 years before starting his own business, Paul’s Appliance Service. Paul enjoyed his family, cooking, gardening, the newspaper comic strip and dancing with Elsie. He was very happy to witness the 2004 Red Sox win the World Series. In addition to his loving wife Elsie, married for 66 years, he is survived by his sons, Peter of Clinton, Michael of Canton, and Paul of Farmington and his three daughters, Corinne Palozie of Canton, Jayne Milas of Torrington and Ann Pintek of East Hartland as well as 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two sons, James and Steven. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Monday, November 21st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral will be Tuesday, November 22nd, 10:15 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church in Collinsville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Collinsville. Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, 50 Church Street, Collinsville, CT 06019.
