It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terrence P. Donovan, beloved father, brother and uncle on Friday, November 18, 2016. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. After graduating from Western Connecticut State College, Terrence made the New Milford area his home. He enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod with this family, cooking, and coaching his daughters’ softball teams. Terry, aka “Splash”, was an avid ice skater who enjoyed outings at Candlewood Lake and the canals of Ottawa Canada.
He leaves his children, Mary Katherine Donovan Roach and husband David of Asheville, NC; his son Timothy of New Milford, and daughter Erin of Vero Beach, FL; his sister Margaret Chester and husband Arnold, his brother Edmund and wife Marjorie, and sister Katie Villa and husband Roger and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 7th at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road in Avon. Internment will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
