The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Boyer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the family. Remember you are not alone at this time. "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." He cares for you. (Isaiah 41:10)

Condolence From: John Peters
Condolence: I have known Dot and Jack for as long as I can remember (and I was born in 1942) as Dot and Jack and my parents were very close friends. I recall being at their first house in north Hartford, many trips to Misquamicut (how Dot loved the beach), vacations at Candlewood Lake and Lake Sunapee, and many getogethers and picnics. They were wonderful people....such great memories. John Peters

Condolence: Aunt Dot was a special person. She was thoughtful and kind and the other half of the wonderful couple called "Johnny and Dot". She was the last aunt in the family on my Mother's side. I'll miss the sound of her voice and her keen mind. Rest in peace, Dot, and give my love to your dear Johnny.

Condolence From: Susan Zahner
Condolence: I have so many fond memories of Dot and Jack as our family often vacationed with them both at Newfound Lake in NH and at Misquamicut Beach in RI. We shared many picnics and parties over the years. They were a part of some very special memories of my childhood.

Condolence From: Johnson family
Condolence: Death is never easy. When Lazarus died, Jesus “groaned in the spirit and became troubled,” and shortly afterward he “gave way to tears.” (John 11:33, 35) So, when someone we love dies, it does not show weakness to cry. God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. (Revelation 21:4).May the God of love comfort the Boyer family and friends.
