Dear Leigh and Family, My heart is heavy with sadness as I consider the depth of your grief over your dear David's recent and untimely death. I did not have the good fortune to meet him, but it is clear from the obituary account that he was an upstanding and caring young man. Although his life was cut short, he seemed to live it well, amassing wealth through his countless friendships and connections. I know some of your pain, as both my beloved father and sister-in-law succumbed to the same cruel and devastating disease. I wish you strength during these days of acute mourning, and I hope that, with time, you will be comforted by all that was good in David's life. May his memory be a blessing...
