Condolence From: Christine J. Cox
Condolence: Dear Hovey Family,
I was so stunned and saddened to learn of Davey's passing. Davey was under my guidance when he participated in an internship with the Chatham Anglers about five years ago. He stood out with his quietly cheerful demeanor, level-headedness, and quick smile. I only learned of his illness when reading of his passing, and am so deeply sorry that you all had to take this arduous journey together. I hope there is some consolation in knowing Davey's pain and struggle are behind him, and that he lives on now in your hearts where he will be forever safe. He clearly touched many, many lives in his short time on this earth, and he lives on in all of our hearts as well. God bless. Christine

Condolence: Dear Hovey Family - I visited Vincent Funeral Home's web site to see my father's obituary and immediately saw a name I knew well. I think of the Hovey's as a very close family, like my own, which simultaneously makes these times more difficult but also more bearable. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence From: The Brady Family
Condolence: Dear Dave, Leigh, Tommy and Katie. I had the pleasure of meeting Davey a few times when coaching youth lacrosse with Dave and Tommy, and again with Katie. It was noticeable how much respect Davey had for his parents and how much love and support he had for his siblings. Most kids his age are naturally more focused on their own cares. Davey really stood out as someone who was interested in seeing both Tommy and Katie succeed as well as himself. That was a rare quality for someone his age, and an admirable trait for Davey as a young man. It was the thing I was reminded of the most when I learned of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Hovey family.
