Kenneth Lee Gleason
Kenneth Lee Gleason, Jr., 79, of Canton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Ken was born and raised in Collinsville by his parents, Kenneth, Sr. and Clara (Ostroski) Gleason. He attended Canton schools and when old enough, joined the U.S. Army and served his country stationed in Germany. When Ken ended his tour of duty, he came back home and soon met his future wife Linda Radun. They married and had three children, Donna (Gleason) Monahan, Scott Gleason and Laurie (Gleason) Roy. Besides his wife and children, Ken leaves his sister, Doris (Gleason) Drawec; seven grandchildren, Sherrie, Susie, Stacy, and Sara Schon, Caleb Roy and twins Katlin and Kezia Roy. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Ken was predeceased by his younger brother Frank and his brother-in-law, Larry P. Drawec. A memorial service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 11th, at the First Bible Baptist Church, 12 Granger Lane in Plainville. Burial will be private. The Vincent Funeral Home of Canton is caring for the arrangements.
