Robert W. (Bob) Dyer, 61 of Canton, passed away on March 26th, 2017 at his home. Born November 3, 1955 he was the son of the late Thomas C. Dyer, Jr. and Jeanette Miner Dyer, who like Bob were lifelong Canton Residents. He is survived by his wife Carol Medara Dyer, his older daughter Jessica Cohen and her husband Patrick of Rochester, NY and their daughter Cassandra and his younger daughter Joan Seymour and Her husband Jeffrey of Bristol, CT. He is also survived by two older brothers, Tim Dyer and his wife Gerry of Cheshire, CT and Wayne Dyer and his wife Amy of Mountain View, CA. He is predeceased by his older sister Joan Dyer Colglazier. He was most recently employed as a Rigger, managing work crews for Able Rigging & Transfer of East Hartford, CT. Earlier in his career he had worked at Miner Lumber Company in Collinsville, a family business that was owned and run by his mother's two brothers at the time. Bob was warm, easy going and friendly and always had a new joke to tell you. His family was very important to him and a source of pride.
