Rich Nardiello
Dan and I shared many of the same hobbies like fishing, building things, fixing things (wether they needed fix'in or not). I passed on my family fishing tradition of spending countless amounts of money on the best rods, reels, and lures. Proceed to the body of water of your choice, and catch...........nothing. My dad, Richard Sr., couldn't catch fish, my self, Rich Jr. couldn't catch fish, and, some how I feel that I passed that gift down to Daniel. The were a couple times we were down by the mighty Farmington River, casting our lures and flies in the perfect spots and catching.... nothing. The legacy will live on! Silas is almost old enough!
Our trip to Dick's Sporting Goods where we were deciding on the best weapons for the zombie apocalypse was when I knew in my heart that you were part of my family and we were never going to have to fear those crappy undead. We were locked and loaded!!!!!!!
You and Mel getting your permits together, just like her mom and me, Brought tears to my eyes. You old romantic, you.
But, the bottom line here is that I didn't lose Melissa's boyfriend or fiance, I lost a son. I love you Dan and I miss you terribly.
