Anna A. (Parylak) Babcock, 95, of Avon, wife of the late Gerald Albert Babcock, died Monday, June 12, 2017 at Avon Health Center. She was born January 15, 1922 in Patterson, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Zygmunt) Parylak and had lived in Avon for over 70 years. Anna was a member of the Church of Saint Ann in Avon. She had enjoyed crocheting, gardening and sewing before her vision became a problem.

She is survived by her brother, John S. Parylak of Unionville; her niece and caregiver, Barbara J. Vasquenza and her husband James of Avon and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Blakesley, Julia Glanovsky, Helen Warner, Wanda Babcock and a brother Joseph M. Parylak. A special "Thank You" to all the staff at Avon Health Center for their care.

The family will gather at the Vincent Funeral Home of Canton at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, June 19th for final good-byes followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road in Avon.
