Click here to view all obituariesI worked with Barbara at Cigna for about 5 or 6 years in the 1970's. She was the keypuncher and I was her assistant. I was only about 20 and it was my first full time job. To be honest, at first I found her a bit intimidating, but eventually I came to really like her. She liked me because I was like her, very fast at keypunching and very accurate. She was so down to earth. She loved her kids, baseball, and her early morning laundromat routine. She was also great friends with her long standing keypunch coworker, Lee. They got along so well, when they both retired they lived together in a trailerpark for a few years where I visited them. The world is a little poorer with losing Barbara. She was a great person and a wonderful coworker. God bless "Mrs. G."
