Nancy Ann Palmisano (née Haney), 92, of Simsbury, died suddenly on May 23, 2017. She was born on June 30, 1924 in Kingwood, West Virginia. She met her husband, Ed Palmisano, who predeceased her in August of 2010, while they were working in Baltimore, MD. Ed and Nancy were married on September 9, 1950 and relocated in 1953 to their life long home in Simsbury, CT. Nancy is survived by: her daughter, Joyce Palmisano of Simsbury; her son, Edward James Palmisano and his wife, Yeng Wu, of New York City; her grandson, Eric Christensen of Simsbury; her granddaughter, Elin Spicola and her husband, Jeff Spicola, and her two beloved great-grandchildren, EJ and Jennie Spicola of Ledyard, CT. She leaves one sister-in-law , Marjorie Webster, of Manchester, NJ. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. Alban's Church, 197 Bushy Hill Road in Simsbury. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Nancy's memory to St. Alban's Church.
