Condolence: We are doubly blessed to have had the privilege of both knowing Roger and being his patients. He was one of the finest men we have known. Condolence: Roger was a great man, a true gentleman, and a wonderful friend for nearly 75 years. He served his family, his community, and his country well, making a difference that will last well beyond the current generation. Roger was loved and respected by all who had the good fortune to know him well. I am thankful for having met him during our early years in Boy Scouts in the mid-forties. We did many things together as kids such as going to the movies, playing tennis, chip and putt golf, skiing in the winter, and even double dating when he was romancing Ruth Ann. I could not been given a greater honor than being Best Man at their wedding. They were a beautiful couple and continued to be a blessing to each other and to numerous friends for the next 57 years. My deepest sympathies go to Ruth Ann and to all of Roger's family.

Condolence: Roger and RuthAnn are my parents dearest friends. One of my fondest memories was standing at Hemingway landing at dusk watching the night heron fly over us. Condolence: You were "Papa" to two boys who adored you as a grandfather. Jack and Luke miss you everyday and will do whatever they can to help "Nana" along with love and hugs. You were a mentor, friend and father-figure to Michael every step of the way in his life in Simsbury. He looked forward to walking into his office knowing you were there to greet him while getting in a quick chat before a patient walked in the door. Your active listening and banter helped him start the day off right. What an honor it was to have you at special functions and celebrations throughout our family life. You were part of all of us...even Addie loved your affection and playful times with a tennis ball. We continue to see your bright smile and blues eyes sparkle. Every bird that draws our attention reminds us of you. You have touched us in ways you will never know. Nana will always be cared for while we are around. Thank you for sharing your ❤️ with us. We love you forever, The Williams Family
