Robert Russell "Bobby" Cayne, 51, of Simsbury, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Bobby leaves behind his parents, Susanne and Vincent Cayne of Simsbury; his brother, Randall of Simsbury and his wife Deb and children, Marty, Mason and Kathryn; his sister, Carli Cayne Dahl of Castle Rock, CO and her husband Mark and children Haeli and Caynen; his aunt, Janis Cayne of Simsbury and many additional aunts, uncles and cousins from around the country.
Bobby graduated from the Simsbury High School in 1984 and had served in the U.S. Navy. He worked with several local Connecticut companies and was currently employed as a driver for ACE Taxi Company. Bobby had a big heart, believed in helping others and loved his family, country, animals and God. He enjoyed driving and the outdoors, especially camping under the stars and listening to country music.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 13th at St. Mary's Church, 946 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Burial will follow in Simsbury Cemetery.
