Condolence: I was quite surprised to hear of Mike's passing. He and I had recently within the past 2 years began communicating again, and it is said that he is no longer with us. On the other hand I know that he was somewhat frail in some ways that he had spoken to me about several times, and perhaps it is best that he be with God in heaven, rather than having to suffer pain on Earth? Mike had mentioned especially his grandson Andrew who he had said was living with him, and who had taken over the handling of the Suffield property which was a relief to him. I also want to relay my condolences to Larry who I worked with at Triangle Pacific in the early 1970s who was very close to him. Praise be to God! May Mike's family, and friends know that he had a remarkable life and as a friend of his and a student of his mentoring he will be personally missed by me and well as you!

Condolence: Mike, Mikey, Uncle Mike was a true friend of mine. He gave me so much guidance from when I started in business 35 years ago. He gave a 23 year old kid credit to buy lumber. We had the kind of friendship most people will never experience. I will always cherish our lively conversations, jokes and eating breakfest or lunch. He always paid. Mike had a positive impact on my life. Peace be with the Laureno family at this time.
