Christopher John Patnode, 32, of Torrington, husband of Zara (Rankell) Patnode, died on Saturday, December 23, 2017. He was born October 24, 1985, in Hartford, son of Gary Raymond Patnode of Barkhamsted and Kelli Lynn Gardiner of Marlborough. He enjoyed hiking and fishing. He is also survived by a step-son, Cole Errichetto, sister, Ashleigh Patnode, niece, Chloe Velazquez-Patnode, grandmother, Eva Patnode of Canton, grandmother and grandfather, John and Lynn Gardiner of Marlborough and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Martin and Catherine (Beer) Rankell. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Tpke, Canton, CT. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
