Obituary for Corinna M. Chamberlain (Caron)

Corinna M. Chamberlain, 98, of Canton, beloved wife of the late Joseph Chamberlain, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Avon Health Center. She was born August 10, 1919, in Connor, ME, daughter of the late George and Annie (Dubay) Caron. Corinna was employed by MH Rhodes of Avon as a final assembler for 27 years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, in Collinsville. Corinna was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Senior Club Town of Canton and enjoyed baking even in her late 90’s giving to neighbors and relatives. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, which we were lucky to have five generations.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hackbarth and her husband Robert; her sons, Robert Chamberlain and Steve Chamberlain and his wife Elaine; grandchildren, Candace Paradis, Ron, Kevin, Rob, and Adam Chamberlain and Cheryl Burke; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Zachary Paradis, Kayla and Alexis Chamberlain, Casandra and Daniel Burke, Mason and Regan Chamberlain; a great-great granddaughter, Jazmine Anthony; sisters, Doris Desjardin, Dorothy Dlubac, Marie Dunleavy and Jeanette Granger. She was predeceased by sons, Richard and Gary Chamberlain; brothers, Gilman, George, Paul, Aubrey, Richard, Milton, and Herman Caron; sisters, Laurina Haines and Irene Koczynski and a grandson, Wayne Chamberlain. We wish to give a special thanks to Alice Colson of the Farmington Valley VNA, Laura, everyone else there and Avon Health Center.
Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Monday, March 26th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home concluding with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Collinsville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Corinna’s memory may be made to the Farmington Valley VNA, 8 Old Mill Lane, Simsbury, CT 06070.
