Condolence: So sorry to hear this sad news. I fell out of touch many years ago with Gordon. Many years ago I had the great pleasure of knowing Gordon when we both worked for paper companies. I had a blast driving to Hartford to share time with him. I was sitting down tonight as I do most summer nights watching my Red Sox... when I started to remember that my first visit to Fenway was with Gordon. So tonight I decided to try and find him again after all these years to tell him how much that night meant to me. He was was so excited to visit Fenway with me knowing that I had been a fan my whole life and had never been there. That’s what made him so great. To his sisters who I met before and to his wife and children who I have had the pleasure to know my heart is heavy for you all. I will fiercer live with the regret of falling out of touch with him and hearing his laugh. He was a spark of light and a special guy.

Condolence: Gordie and me raced our tricycles around the neighborhood when we were little. Our moms were always chasing us down. We were always getting into things. I remember when Gordie got his first company car that had a neat sounding exhaust. He would say “ go near the exhaust, doesn’t that sound cool”. He was a good friend growing up. He will be missed.

Condolence: Gordon's jokes and sense of humor made him larger than life but there was so much more to this man. He was very special and I will never forget him. It's so hard to believe he is gone. The world will be a quieter place but I am blessed to have known him.

Condolence: Gosh what a shock. Gordon and I met only once probably 20-25 years ago when Gordon and his Dad traveled to Webber to begin as independent reps for Webber's equipment. Through the years Gordon and I have shared jokes, political opinions, and a common lust for many things automotive related. Yes we managed to sell and build some equipment. But most of our phone calls were NOT business related. I cannot imagine the magnitude of your loss. Please accept my most sincere condolences.

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandra, the kids and Gordon's family. We feel very fortunate that we were all great friends and spent quality time together. I loved when the Duff's would stay at "our house" and Gordon would tell me he loved staying at my bed and breakfast, good food and good service. He was a loving man and loved to talk history, books and cars. I'm sure he and Rob are having great conversations in heaven and they are watching over our families always. xoxo

Condolence: I want to say how sorry I am for the unexpected passing of Gordon. I have known Gordon for the past four years through work and I cannot tell you how much fun I had working with him. I only met him a few times in person, but he was the rep I talked to the most, at least once per week and sometimes 3 or 4 times per day. His personal dedication to everything he did always came through. We talked about a great many things and I loved traveling with him. He had great stories and I loved laughing with him. He was such a laid back guy, which should never be underestimated in which he loved to win. He always had a competitive fire, which is why it was so much to work with him, talk to him, and travel with him I am sorry I did not get spend more time with him. Jim Halbleib
