Paul F. Lizak, 74, of Tariffville, CT, died Saturday, April 21, 2018. He was born on August 9, 1943 in South Hadley, MA, son of the late Franciszek and Rita (L’Abbee) Lizak. Paul was married to his beloved wife, Sharon (Sullivan) Lizak, for 40 years before Sharon passed away on January 24, 2017. After graduating from Western New England College and the University of Connecticut, Paul worked as an electrical engineer for UCONN Health Center for over 35 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed photography, cooking and spending time at the Connecticut shore with his family. Paul was also known for his sharp wit and love of humor.
He is survived by his son, Paul Lizak of Middletown and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 28 at 11:30 AM at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, 36 Winthrop Street in Tariffville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society CT Chapter, 659 Tower Ave., First Floor, Hartford, CT 06112.
