Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Jacks family and all those that loved him. I worked at Hartford for Jack from 1993 through his retirement. Jack was one of the last of the " old school " leaders at the Hartford. Much of the success that I was was fortunate to have during those years working with Jack was fueled by his leadership style. Put up good numbers, maintain a high level of ethics and take care of the customers that pay their premiums to The Hartford . That was what Jack wanted, and as a leader, he would always try to give you the tools and resources to make that possible. Then the rest was up to you. Condolence: Dear Mathis Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Jack. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, we were created with everlasting life in view. But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God has promised that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings.
