Mary (Sheehan) Lang, 88, of Windsor Locks, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Sheehan, died peacefully at her home on July 16, 2018. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Lang and her brother, Robert Sheehan.

She was born on June 3, 1930 and resided all her life in Windsor Locks. A communicant of St. Mary’s Church, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Michelle Lang of Acushnet, MA, a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and David Markowitz of Canton; five grandchildren, Seth Markowitz, Nichole Lang, Zachary Lang, Ally Markowitz and Joseph Lang.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 20th at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.

The family would like to thank her devoted caregiver, Beverly Maitland for her compassion, friendship and skilled assistance over the past four years, as well as Trinity Health of New England, and her hospice nurse Amy for making Mary’s final days comfortable and peaceful.
