Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. Sandy and I worked together in the ICU and collaborated on many other projects during her time with IT. She was so proud of you boys, and we talked often of you. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Sandy's family. She was such an amazing person. We shared a love for the beach and on a particular ride to the beach with my children and their friends (all packed in my van) it broke down on Rt 9. We were so upset that we never made it to the beach that day. She was a true friend.... loyal and kind. My heart breaks for the loss of such a wonderful person. RIP my dear friend Sandy....

Condolence From: Beverly Montagno, RN
Condolence: My deepest sympathy and prayers are sent for Sandy, her family, and friends. Sandy will be remembered for the kindness and compassion she showed towards her patients and nursing colleague friends. We shared many good times and laughs on the night shift in the old ICU at the UConn Health Center but when the ICU got busy and chaotic, I knew I could always count on Sandy to be in my room and ready to help. When Sandy left the ICU for a day position, there were many times I would see her as she came to work in the morning as I left for home. Sandy always stopped to chat and greeted me with a big smile and hug. I knew deep down she missed the ICU. Sandy, you will be missed and may you rest in peace...in God's care.
