Paul John “PJ” Halski, 60, of Collinsville, beloved husband of Stephanie (King) Halski, died Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. He was born January 1, 1959 in Kety, Poland, cherished son of Maria (Zareba) Halski of Kensington and the late Chester Halski and had lived in New Britain prior to moving to Collinsville 30 years ago. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and graduated from Great Lake Naval Academy. He had a long career in construction, was a master carpenter, and in his later years, an IT Technician. He enjoyed traveling, boating both on rivers and the ocean, going to the beach and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife of 22 years and his mother, Paul is survived by his son, Matthew Halski of South Windsor; his brother, Chris Halski, his wife Andrea and children, Diana and James; his sister, Barbara Plochocki, her husband Greg and children Alex, Anthony and Ashley.

His family will receive friends at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Saturday, January 4th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, closing with a prayer service at 4:00 PM.
