Patrick Henry Vincent
Patrick Henry Vincent, 64, of Canton, died Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Hospital for Special Care after a long illness. He was born December 18, 1950 in Hartford, son of the late Henry T. and Marcella (Anderson) Vincent and had been a lifelong resident of Canton. He was a graduate of the Canton High School, Class of 1968, and had served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1970 to 1972. Pat operated the Town of Canton Transfer Station, a job he loved for 21 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville and enjoyed all sports, especially the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and UCONN Basketball. He is survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth LaDuke and her husband Dennis and Susan Chin and her husband Jeffrey, all of Canton; his brother, Kevin Vincent of Sun City, CA and his Godchildren, his nephew, Joshua LaCombe and his niece Jaden Chin, both of Canton. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Vincent. Patrick also says goodbye to his many close and caring friends. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Sunday, June 7th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 8th, 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville. Burial will follow in Dyer Cemetery in Canton.
