Dorothy (Janeski) Boyer, 95, of Bloomfield, wife of the late John S. Boyer, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born September 19, 1921 in Granby, daughter of the late Stephen F. and Anna (Bronkavich) Janeski and had lived in Bloomfield for over 70 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish of Bloomfield. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, making jewelry and traveling, having made many enjoyable trips to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska and all over the USA and surrounding islands.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, William Bornhoeft of Palm Harbor, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Julia Sicilia, Charles E Janeski, Stella Stevenson, Joseph Janeski and Elizabeth Bornhoeft.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 22nd, at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Wintonbury Avenue in Bloomfield. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the Mass from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bloomfield Volunteer Ambulance Association, 785 Park Avenue, Bloomfield CT 06002.
