Condolences

Condolence From: Nancy Schultz
Condolence: I was one of Melindas first patients and am stunned to hear of her death. I will always remember her walking into the examination room with her pony tail bouncing, a smile on her face and always with compassion and keen interest in your situation. She was. like a detective looking for every clue to find the right problem and solution. It was shocking to me that after the examination she would stay and talk and ask questions instead of ushering me out and bringing in the next patient. I can honestly say she was the finest doctor I have ever had. Connecticut will be missing a fine doctor and person. I'm sure she will be tackling big problems up above. My sincere condolences to all her family.

Condolence: To the entire family: I was fortunate to have Dr. Ramsby as my doctor for 13 years. I always told everyone in my family how she was the most caring physician I have ever known. She had a way about her that made you feel special in her presence. Her smile was genuine and her manner so comforting. I can only imagine her devotion to her husband, children, extended family and friends. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Karen Phillips New Hartford, CT.

Condolence: I will always remember Mel's beautiful caring spirit, the laughter we shared in the exam room and the relaxing dinners Michael and I shared with her and Greg. ( Far too few...) I liked Melinda at the first, who didn't? Her incredibly bright and inquisitive eyes revealed a spirit both highly intellectual and loving. She adored her family and cared for her patients in every possible way, working long hours, finding clues and following paths to health because she was truly a healer a gifted scientist and physician. Prayers to you Greg, to your children and all of your family during this difficult time. C. S. Lewis asks in A Grief Observed, "why does grief feel so like pain?" It is especially painful to lose a beautiful soul like Mel's so soon and she will be missed over the years to come. Be at peace Melinda.
