Frances (Bacewicz) Waclawski, 93, of Catonsville, MD, wife of the late Ignace Chester Waclawski, died peacefully June 15, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born December 31, 1923, in East Hartford, CT, daughter of the late John and Frances (Spakauskas) Bacewicz, she lived in Wethersfield, CT, for many years and in Catonsville, MD, for the past five years. She was a graduate of East Hartford High School. Prior to her retirement she had many years of dedicated service at the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles preceded by years of service at the Hartford Steam Boiler. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Joan Waclawski, of Columbia, MD; her beloved grandson, Christopher Waclawski, of Baltimore, MD; her beloved granddaughter, Tracy Waclawski, of Elkridge, MD; and countless nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Charles, Joseph, Anthony, William and John Bacewicz; and two sisters, Anna Bovee and Elizabeth Hawrylik. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Tnpk., Canton, Saturday, July 8, 9-11 a.m., followed by burial at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery.
