David G. Parsell, 72, of Collinsville, beloved husband of Carol (Stupcenski) Parsell, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his home with family at his side. He was born February 14, 1946 in Hartford, son of the late Rollin and Helen (Dewey) Parsell and had been a life long resident of Collinsville. Mr. Parsell was an Automotive Appraiser for Duhamill & Duhamill for many years. David enjoyed auto racing and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants.

Besides his loving wife of 49 years, he is survived by his three sons, Eric Parsell and Steven Parsell, both of Canton and Michael Parsell of San Diego, CA, his three grandchildren, Sam, Kate and Jacob Parsell and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Blaine Parsell. David's family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Peter Schauer at the Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center, and to McLean Home Hospice for the loving care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute, 80 Seymour Street, Hartford, CT 6102 or to McLean Home Hospice, 75 Great Pond Road, Simsbury, CT 06070.
