So sorry to hear this sad news. I fell out of touch many years ago with Gordon. Many years ago I had the great pleasure of knowing Gordon when we both worked for paper companies. I had a blast driving to Hartford to share time with him. I was sitting down tonight as I do most summer nights watching my Red Sox... when I started to remember that my first visit to Fenway was with Gordon. So tonight I decided to try and find him again after all these years to tell him how much that night meant to me. He was was so excited to visit Fenway with me knowing that I had been a fan my whole life and had never been there. That’s what made him so great. To his sisters who I met before and to his wife and children who I have had the pleasure to know my heart is heavy for you all. I will fiercer live with the regret of falling out of touch with him and hearing his laugh.He was a spark of light and a special guy.
