Everyone brings something to your life; some when they enter and some when they leave. Gary brought something to my life when I met him and now that he has left. I met Gary 30 years ago and immediately I noticed how fair and decent he was. Those qualities endeared me to Gary and made me endeavor to treat everyone fairly. Over the years those qualities were magnified by the way Gary treated his clients. He treated them equally and was never too busy to talk to them. Gary was caring, thoughtful and a good listener and always had an encouraging word for you. One of his favorite sayings was “onward and upward”. Gary gave good sound advice and was a man whose word was his bond. Gary’s sincerity was rivaled by his sense of humor, which was evident on a daily basis. To Karen, Brett, Kristen and the rest of the family I offer my sincere condolences and my prayer that God will grant you comfort and peace in your time of grief. May you take solace in the knowledge that Gary brought so much to the lives of so many and even in death his good deeds will live on. I am a better person because of Gary and his leaving has strengthened my resolve to treat everyone fairly. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Gone but not forgotten.
