Condolence: Gary and his firm were our attorneys. He helped us through a lot of ups and downs. He was kind, funny and extremely patient while I called him numerous times a day. Gary will be missed. My condolences to the family.

Condolence: I met Gary in 1996 when I started work at this firm. He was quiet, fair and excellent attorney. He treated all his clients and staff like his friends. I often ran into his office asking for a last-minute opinion or favor and he never let me down. I'm sad Gary did not get to enjoy retirement as much as he had hoped to. But, I am sure he is looking down from Heaven with a drink in his hand. He will be forever in our hearts. God broke the mold after Gary. My deepest sympathies to Karen, Bret & Kristen and his extended family as well.

Condolence: Everyone brings something to your life; some when they enter and some when they leave. Gary brought something to my life when I met him and now that he has left. I met Gary 30 years ago and immediately I noticed how fair and decent he was. Those qualities endeared me to Gary and made me endeavor to treat everyone fairly. Over the years those qualities were magnified by the way Gary treated his clients. He treated them equally and was never too busy to talk to them. Gary was caring, thoughtful and a good listener and always had an encouraging word for you. One of his favorite sayings was “onward and upward”. Gary gave good sound advice and was a man whose word was his bond. Gary’s sincerity was rivaled by his sense of humor, which was evident on a daily basis. To Karen, Brett, Kristen and the rest of the family I offer my sincere condolences and my prayer that God will grant you comfort and peace in your time of grief. May you take solace in the knowledge that Gary brought so much to the lives of so many and even in death his good deeds will live on. I am a better person because of Gary and his leaving has strengthened my resolve to treat everyone fairly. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Gone but not forgotten.

Condolence: To Karen, Warren and Gail and families, my thoughts and prayers go out to you over the loss of Gary. Gary and I shared an apartment in Boston during our days at Northeastern and as a result, we became good friends. Gary was always friendly, sympathetic and caring. After Northeastern, our life paths separated us but I'll always remember Gary as a friend. May God Bless Gary and all of you.

Condolence: There are people who come into our lives who leave a wonderful, lasting, unforgettable impact. Gary was that kind of person. Confronting you with a ready smile and warm, engaging personality——- there can be no ambivalence to knowing him ——- you are compelled to like him.

His house burned down. He temporarily had to move his family to a rental where he soon discovered snakes in the basement. Things like this would upset the rest of us, but Gary would find amusement in the randomness of life and maintain an even keel.

One Sunday morning months ago, I ran into Gary at CVS. We hadn’t seen each other in quite a while but ended up talking for nearly an hour. You could talk to Gary about anything. He had a very genuine, appealing sense of humor. I really enjoyed our conversation. When it was time to go I thought, this was the kind of man I wish I had spent more time with.

Today, especially now, there is no easy way to say goodbye to Gary.

Condolence: My heart goes out to you all, Karen, Kristen, Brett, Dr Attmore and all the grand kids. Gary was a good friend and neighbor, I share your loss. But I also remember the many, many good times we had together. The impromptu afternoon "parties" on the lawn watching the kids race around the cul-de-sac, the skiing at Sundown and Killington, the sweltering nights on Lake Winnipesaukee and so many other memories. Our lives have changed but the memories remain. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolence: Heartbreaking. My condolences to the family. I knew Gary for over 35 years and there was no professional or personal legal decision contemplated, contract signed or decision made without the benefit Gary’s expert legal advise, sage wisdom and calm thoughtful consideration. He was easy to talk to, an astute listener, an evenhanded advisor. I’d forever be saying, “ I’ll call Gary and ask him what he thinks,’ I will miss him very greatly. Rest in Peace Gary… You were a wonderful human being… Joel
