Condolences

Condolence From: Susan A Thibodeau
Condolence: Dear Dowden Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for the family and friends of William. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, we were created with everlasting life in view. But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God has promised that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings. (Isaiah 25:8) God has also promised that he will return William to you as it says at John 5:28,29 and also Psalms 37:29. You can also learn more about what happens when a loved one dies at JW.org. Sincerely, Susan

Condolence: A mentor and teacher for me during my post doctorate program, Bill was a great man. He constantly challenged me to critically think and perform as a professional at all times. Bill and Kaare Langeland (his chief and good friend) were the two professors that shaped my dental career. Thank you, Bill, for sharing your exemplary professionalism with me.

Condolence: My condolences on Dr. Dowden's passing. I was privileged to have been one of Bill's early students. His compassion and willingness to help the student was unparalleled. My success was due in large part to his teaching ability. He will be missed. Paul Goldschmidt ( UConn dental class of 1972 )
