Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Sheila’s passing and my condolences to Heather and Brian. She was so proud and loving of her family.
Sheila’s profession was nursing and she was an excellent nurse. However, Sheila lived her life as a nurse, always kind, always caring.
Sheila was a joy to work with and I was devastated to learn of her illness.
I am sure that Sheila is in a better place, providing comfort if there is anyone in need of a smile or a hug.
Sheila lived a life of giving. God bless her.

Condolence: I was not a close friend of Sheila's but I was a member of her Nursing school class at St.Mary's. I will remember her as a sweet person with great sense of humor. How she loved to join in all the fun pranks back then. The world has lost a very good nurse and I send my sincere sympathy to each and every family member and friend. RIP dear Sheila.

Condolence: To Bryan, Heather & Sheila’s entire family .....
I’m at a loss for words about how much my friend Sheila Ryan Jones has meant to me for the past 50 years ! Yes 50 !!! We met on the “moving in day” at St Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Waterbury in 1968 and we’ve been bestest friends ever since that day 💕
We always said we felt like we were sisters !!! And as sisters we shared all of our hopes and dreams, laughed through the good times & rough times and we were always there for each other.
Although I never worked with Sheila after we graduated from nursing school I know through the many stories she shared with me what a great nurse she was !!!
She would quietly tell me about thank you notes she would receive from her patients and I’m sure they were so well deserved ... Sheila was always such a loving mother, wife and friend as well as a caring and patient nurse !!!
I’m glad that my friend Sheila is at peace now ... love you, Marty

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you Heather, Bryan and the family, as Sheila has moved on to more peaceful pastures. First met Sheila when she was a superb floor nurse on BW5, and when the word came out that she was ready to move on, Drs Graydon and myself moved immediately, and were never sorry. She was a friend, a rock for our patients and somebody we could always turn to for common sense advice. She stood up for the patients, as well as her staff, and thus was a true example of what nursing is, a continued inspiration for us all. And doing all that, while continuing her increased responsibilities at home Sheila you are missed, but not forgotten. Ruth & Bert Berlin

Condolence: My condolences to the family, especially Heather and Brian and grandchildren.
I worked with Sheila those 28-30 plus years in the same doctors office. She was my best friend there,
mentor, educator to the nursing staff and her patients.
Never was there an unkind word to either.
As noted by others she always had a warm smile to others always putting her patients first to put them at ease. She loved talking about her family and especially the addition of her grandchildren.
Her loss to the office, her patients, friends and family was heartbreaking.
She has and will continue to be missed. We love you Sheila and are happy you are at rest with out Lord.

Condolence: It was a pleasure knowing Sheila, the pretty young farm girl that was always happy and with a smile as she moved about the Ryan Farm. As she grew up and had her own family she would always keep that happy spirit and smile whenever I would see her at Ryan family functions. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

Condolence: Please accept my condolences for the passing of Sheila. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)

I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)

Condolence: My condolences to the entire Ryan Family. Reading about Sheila. Brought back many great memories of your family. Back in the day. The family farm, your mom, dad, the entire family. I think of your family every time I drive past the old homestead. Sheila is now resting in peace. I am out of town. So I can not attend the service tomorrow. But I will be thinking about your family during this sad time.
