Obituary for Dwight Mann Ragle

Dwight Mann Ragle, 87, of Simsbury, beloved husband of Barbara Ann (Cone) Ragle, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at CherryBrook Health Care Center in Canton. He was born December 2, 1930 in Kansas City, MO, son of the late William Floyd and Josephine Marie (Gordon) Ragle and had lived in Simsbury for over 40 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a graduate of Central Missouri State College, having received his Bachelors Degree in Economics. Mr. Ragle was a Speech Writer for many Fortune 500 companies for many years prior to his retirement. Dwight enjoyed spending his time as a private pilot, walking, skiing and reading and had especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and target shooting with his grandson, Justin.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by his son, Matthew Ragle and his wife Jill of Saratoga Springs, NY; his daughter, Thomasin Ragle Mullen of New York, NY and his grandchildren, Madeline and Jack Ragle and Justin and Spencer Mullen. He was predeceased by his brothers, William Floyd Ragle and most recently, Gordon Ragle, who passed after his death on December 26 of Kansas City, MO.
