Theresa "Terrie" Bouquillon, 59, of Avon, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home. She was born January 27, 1959 in Hartford, beloved daughter of Edward F. and Mary (Murphy) Bouquillon of Simsbury. Theresa was an Independent Consultant for many years working in both the insurance and medical transcription industries. She attended St. Catherine of Siena Church in Simsbury.
Terrie is what we would call a true friend. Her gift of being present, generous and full of caring for others is well remembered. Many were touched by her love and uplifted by her wonderful sense of humor. All of these memories created with friends and family have been captured by her love of photography.
In addition to her parents. She is survived by her loving daughter Olivia Flannery of Avon; two brothers, Eddie Bouquillon and his wife Diana of Lincoln, MA and David Bouquillon and his wife Mary Beth of San Francisco, CA along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Theresa "NeNe" Murphy and her former husband, John Flannery.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 29th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Road in West Simsbury. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037.
