Obituary for Robert Wheller Pattison

Robert Wheeler “Beanie” Pattison, 76, a life long resident of Simsbury, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Amberwoods of Farmington. He was born May 29, 1942 in Hartford, son of the late Joseph and Della Elda (Lepenies) Pattison. Robert was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. He Owned and Operated the Pentangle Pub in Avon for many years. Beanie was a member of the Hop Meadow Country Club in Simsbury and the Avon Country Club. He enjoyed lawn bowling, playing cards and watching sports, especially the Hartford Whalers hockey games.
He is survived by his brother, George Pattison and his wife Barbara of Florida; his nephews, Frank Pattison and his wife Marion, Daniel Pattison and Michael Pattison and his nieces, Karin Delesdernier and her husband Scott, and Holly Doyle and her husband Gerry. He was predeceased by a brother, Roger Pattison.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, February 2nd from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury, closing with a memorial service and words of remembrance at 4:00 PM.
