Obituary for Paulette B. Nieman (Kunstadt)

Paulette Bina (Kunstadt) Nieman, 77, of Tariffville, beloved wife of Stanley E. Nieman, died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born June 4, 1942 in Hartford, daughter of the late Salomon and Ella (Ratz) Kunstadt and had lived in West Hartford prior to moving to the Tariffville section of Simsbury many years ago. Mrs. Nieman was a New Business Specialist for CIGNA for over 35 years prior to her retirement in 2005 and was a Hostess at Hopmeadow Country Club for many years. Paulette loved going to any beach and watching movies, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her loving husband of 26 years, she is survived by her sister, Ruth (Kunstadt) Culp and her husband William of South Carolina; her nieces, Kristin Culp and her husband Mark Moore of Virginia and Danielle McElveen and her husband Sean of South Carolina and grand nephews Ryan, Kyle, and Brayden McElveen.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12th at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Her family will receive friends prior to the service, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bernese Education and Rescue www.bernerinc.org/
