Obituary for Lawrence R. Champagne
Lawrence R. Champagne, 74, of Canton, beloved husband of Pauline M. (LaChance) Champagne, died Saturday, September 28, 2019. He was born June 11, 1945 in St. Prosper, Quebec, Canada and had lived in Hartford prior to moving to Canton six years ago. Larry was an Electrical Contractor having owned and operated LC Electric for many years. He enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino, playing cards, especially cribbage and traveling to Canada and Aruba.
In addition to his loving wife of 50 years, he is survived by his daughter, Chantale Lisa Krzanowski and her husband Stephen of Canton; his granddaughter, Emma Marie Krzanowski; his siblings, Gaetane LaRochelle of Vernon, Raymond Champagne and his wife Louiselle of East Hartford, Michelle Champagne of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, France Champagne and husband Pierre Gauvin of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, Micheline Champagne of Manchester and Helene Champagne of Columbia and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, close family and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Danielle Champagne; two brothers, Rejean and Renald Champagne and a brother-in-law, Gilles LaRochelle.
