My deepest deepest condolences to Oz's wife, daughters, mother and other family and friends. I was a classmate of his at Holy Cross and we played in the band, Na Zdrowie, together. Oz played keyboards and trombone. He was an extraordinary man even back then. In the category of obscure details, his favorite song that we covered with the band was "Tell Him" by the Exciters. I had to put it on now as I'm thinking of him. I was so happy to see him at our 35th reunion last June. I share the deep sadness of his loss.

Bobby, what can I say at a time like this. I saw you just three days prior, and it was great to talk and catch up. You were looking forward to going to Italy, and you had a new Funk band that was developing, and on top of that you were looking into getting a new electric piano. Well, as a friend and former band mate, the times we spent together in the studio and playing out meant a lot to me. While I am no "musician" you made it easier for me to understand what the term really meant. As with any relationship, we didn't always see things the same way, but when we did, we made music-good music. The songs we recorded and the assistance you gave me personally during this process was a life-long lesson, and I miss the interplay we had during those times.
But like every good thing, it morphs into something else eventually. But everything we did together as a band "seemed to work". And that is what life is all about anyway. Making it work. And that is what you did best my friend. I will miss you, until we meet up again.

Your friend. Eddie Case

There are only a few times in life when you know, without any doubt, that you have met an extraordinary person--someone who seems to simply radiate warmth--whom you would sincerly describe as a kind soul. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet Bob had that experience. He was such a talented man who gave his time and attention to others freely, and he made us all and his community the better for it. I will forever be grateful for having had Bob in my family's life. He inspired and encouraged my children through his music instruction and being such an incredible volunteer at our church. He always made me and my husband laugh during many outings, events and cherished times he and Kristin spent with us around the dinner table laughing until our cheeks hurt. Bob was a brilliant light in this world who loved and cherished his family in a way everyone could witness. He contributed his time and talent in a way that was completely genuine and heartfelt. And he was a friend in a way that made each of us feel truly special . Simply put, Bob was extraordinary because he cared. He cared deeply about the people in his life and the things that mattered to them. He cared about our world and spent his time making his corner of it better for us all. We send our deepest sympathies to Kristin, April, Charlotte and all of Bob's family and friends at this time of great loss.

I am in shock and deeply heart-broken to hear of the passing of Bob. He was one of the most generous people I have ever known. Multi-talented, such a giving person, he was always willing to help out in any way he could; often leading projects that helped others. Words come difficult for me to sum up the person, the man he was. Simply, he was a man of God; who did the best he could for others and his loving family. A man who always thought of others first; who took the time to help anyone who needed assistance; who brought music into our world that made our own journey more pleasing. May God comfort his family and friends at this time and I cherish the knowledge that God has a place for Bob in his Kingdom; a place of comfort, peace, and love. A place that is warmed with the sounds of new music.
