Obituary for Eileen Fuore

Eileen Marie Fuore, 65, of Farmington, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 after a month-long illness at Hartford Hospital. She died peacefully and for that her family is immensely grateful. She was born November 11, 1955 in Great Barrington, MA, daughter of the late Daniel Charles and Elizabeth May (Roulin) Fuore and had lived in East Windsor prior to moving to Farmington 4 years ago. She grew up in Torrington CT and was a member of the Torrington High class of ’73. She was also a graduate of Central Connecticut State College, Class of 1977, having received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Eileen was a Pricing Analyst for AETNA for over 25 years prior to her retirement. She loved Facebooking with friends, cooking and reading and in earlier years, enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her two sisters, Diane C. Fuore of Avon and Donna S. Ryan and her husband Bradley of Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Eileen will be remembered as a kind, gentle woman who never met a stranger. She had a wonderful sense of humor and often laughed until she cried. She described herself as having a memory of useless information and was the family "google" before the internet. Even with multiple health issues of cancer and kidney disease in her later years, she enjoyed keeping up with friends and spending time with her family.

At this time due to Covid, a memorial will be postponed until family and friends can gather together and safely celebrate her life. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 111 Founders Plaza, 2nd Floor, East Hartford, CT 06108 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. The Vincent Funeral Home of Canton is caring for the arrangements. Please visit Eileen’s “Book of Memories” at www.vincentfuneralhome.com for online tributes.
