Steven Madigan

Edward “Steven” Madigan, age 32, of Canton, CT, passed away unexpectedly but at peace early Sunday morning January 17, 2021 while visiting his mother, Donna Madigan, in Charlestown, RI. Steve was born June 13, 1988 in Hartford, graduated Canton High School in 2006, attended Green Mountain College and was a life-long resident to the Canton area.

Steve was caring, humble, loving, fun, positive and a genuine friend to so many. He was a fervent sports fan for most teams Boston. He had a love for music and sharing that passion with his friends and family. Attending concerts and music festivals with friends was one of his greatest joys. He was an avid snowboarder and appreciated the beauty and peace the outdoors provided. A beautiful person, seeking a life not just to live, but to love. We still believe in you, keep searching my friend.

Steve, Stevo, Uncle Steve was loved by so many. He is survived by his mother and father, Donna and Edward Madigan; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Bryan and Jess Rydingsward, Craig and Chrissy Rydingsward; his nephews and niece Alex, Will, Caiden and Brooke Rydingsward; his uncle and aunts, Dave and Wendy Madigan, Scott and Diane Madigan; his dear grandmother, Maryanne Madigan; his beloved cousins; and his vast network of close friends. We will sorely miss you Steve.

His family will receive friends during a walk-through visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 22nd at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton, CT. Guests are asked wear face coverings and follow the social distancing reminders. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 23rd at the Riverside Cemetery, 160 Garden Street in Farmington, CT.
