Dear Wright family,

I am so sad to learn of the passing of Hal. Of course I knew Hal through Silver Bay, but I worked closely with him when I worked at the Hartford YMCA. Hal was truly a mentor for me. I was young and new to the movement. I always knew I could go to Hal and he would listen and offer thoughtful words of wisdom. He was so respected by all in the Hartford Association and so many in the wider YMCA movement. I truly admired your father and looked up to him. To me he truly was a great man. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. And let me know if I can be of any help or support. On behalf of all of us at Silver Bay, we are grateful for the life of Harold Wright. In sympathy and respect. Bruce Tamlyn

Hal was a great colleague and friend. I enjoyed our time working together at the Hartford YMCA. Hal was the embodiment of a true gentleman. He will be missed. My best to Jane and the family. Tom Reynolds
