Obituary for Erik C. Raymond
Erik C. “Eray” Raymond, 28, of San Diego, CA, died February 7, 2021. He was born December 24, 1992 in Hartford, CT, the son of Todd and Kristina (Baker) Raymond.
He attended Simsbury schools and graduated from Simsbury High School in 2011, followed by his graduation from the University of Utah with a B.S. Degree in Operations Management.
Erik was a member of the San Diego Lapidary Society where he shared his passion for the craft of working, forming and finishing stone, minerals and gemstones. Erik’s passion for skiing, hiking and fly fishing inspired him to attend the University of Utah.
Erik is survived by his parents Todd and Kristina Raymond; his sister Melissa; he also leaves his maternal grandparents Leonard and Ulla-Britt Baker of Charlestown, RI and his paternal Grandparents Dan and Susan Raymond of Avon, CT. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
His family and friends will remember Erik’s smile his spirited ways and the love for travel, music, art and friendship.
Erik will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
