Obituary for Inara Ledder

Inara (Mazjanis) Ledder, 78, passed away peacefully February 6, 2021, at her home in Simsbury with her children by her side. Born in Riga, Latvia, she was formerly a resident of Rocky Hill, CT and Fort Pierce, FL.

She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of over 30 years, Robert W. Ledder. Inara is survived by her daughters, Robyn Murphy and Erin Flynn and her fiancé Robert Neighbours; stepson Robert Ledder and wife Susan; brother, Ivars Mazjanis and his wife Roseanne; grandchildren, Valerie Butler, Daniel Butler and his partner Monique Cyr, Lilith Schoenberg and Margaret Johnson; great grandchildren, Lucas, Molly, Ishmael and Jordan. She is also survived many dear cousins, nephews and friends including her two BFF’s Becky Gagnon and Rich DeFrancis who could always be counted on to give her a daily dose of cheer.

Always a fun loving and social person Inara enjoyed her many dear friends in FL and CT. She enjoyed golf, painting, lounging by the pool, mahjong, ‘Burger Night’, weekends away with her girlfriends and evenings at The Tiki Bar. In recent years she most looked forward to visits from her family and taking the grandchildren on adventures to Disney. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, positive attitude and wonderful smile.

In lieu of flowers Inara has requested blood donations be made to The Red Cross.
